My experience here has been wonderful! To be completely honest, I don't like going to the dentist but, when my tooth cracked I was forced to get dental work done. The receptionist was great! She explained everything to me in detail and, that helped me be more calm about the situation. The dentist himself was great and so is the staff. I would definitely recommend Aava dental in Fullerton.

I’ve been going to Aava for two years now and have not been disappointed. They always have the nicest receptionists that answer all my questions through the phone or in person after the service. The dentist there is also very kinda and understanding while doing work on me. I personally get very nervous and anxious when ever I go to the dentist but here they always help and listen to their patients which I love. They did a great job with fillings where it looks so natural now. And recently got all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted which the dentist did so quick and by the time he was done I had no idea cause he made sure I didn’t feel it. Overall I’ve only had great experiences here and highly recommend to check them out especially with how nice their new location is.

This is a great dental office! Walk in and you are greeted by nicest people ever, Irene and Ana. They are super helpful, communicative, and friendly. I then got my X-rays done by Juana who was so sweet, quick, and always made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Aaron Au was also very kind, professional, and gentle. Coolest Dentist ever!!! My siblings also agree that Juana, another nice lady (I forgot to ask for her name), and Dr. Aaron Au were the best! My family has had bad experiences before with other dentists, but feel very safe and comfortable here! Highly recommend this place!

Professional Teeth Cleaning

No matter how thorough you are home during your daily routine teeth cleaning, harmful bacteria grow in your mouth that can only be removed by professional teeth cleaning. These bacteria can cause gum disease, and significantly affect your overall health. The bacteria that cause gum disease are the same as those linked to heart disease and other illnesses. The American Dental Association recommends you get a professional tooth cleaning twice a year. The combination of good at-home teeth cleaning and having a professional cleaning twice a year will significantly reduce your risk of gum disease and other illnesses. Aava Dental has friendly professional staff. Call and schedule a professional tooth cleaning today.

Have you ever put off having a dental procedure done because you were scared? If so, you are not alone. Many people avoid getting dental work done because they have a fear of the unknown. No one wants cavities when they visit the dentist, so it is important to practice good oral hygiene at home and get regular dental check-ups to catch any problems early before they turn into a dental filling. After all, good oral hygiene and a low sugar diet will reduce the risk of cavities and eliminate the need for a dental filling. It is better to take care of smaller cavities before they grow longer and turn into root canal problems. Do not put off your dental check-ups. Good oral hygiene is related to overall good health. Visit Aava Dental office today to keep your mouth in tip-top shape without any cavities or fillings.

The tooth can be divided into two basic parts – the root and the crown. A cemented restoration that partially or completely covers the outside of the clinical crown is referred to as a dental crown or cap. There are many situations that require a tooth to be restored with a dental crown. Below is a list of the most common:
  • A large filling that involves more than 2/3 the width of the tooth needs to be covered with a dental crown.
  • A root canal treatment leaves the tooth hollowed out and will need a dental crown to prevent fracturing.
  • When a tooth is fractured, and pain is involved, and a dental crown can hold the tooth together.
  • Teeth that have an unacceptable appearance can be altered using dental crowns.
  • Dental crowns are placed over implants to close gaps from missing teeth.

Dental crowns can be made from a gold alloy, other metal alloys, stainless steel, all-porcelain, composite resin, or zirconia. Visit Aava Dental today & discuss your options with a dental professional.

If you have found yourself in need of a dental bridge due to the loss of a tooth there are many things you should know. Dental bridges can be less expensive than implants, especially if there are multiple teeth to replace. Dental bridges usually take only two trips to the dentist as long as the extracted teeth have already been removed. Call Aava Dental today to see if you are a good candidate for a dental bridge to close any gaps and restore your smile to new. If you are a good candidate for dental implants, an implant is a better option.

More and more consumers believe emulating a superstar smile is the key ingredient to social and professional success. Thanks to cosmetic dentistry, particularly dental veneers, these people can attain the smile of their dreams. Ceramic porcelain veneers give people a healthy, natural-looking smile. At Aava Dental we recommend porcelain veneers to enhance esthetics, restore tooth structure and function, and correct small some orthodontic problems. Call today to see if porcelain dental veneers are an option to restore your smile and give you a youthful radiant new look.

Tooth bonding or dental bonding uses a special tooth-colored resin which is applied to the tooth then hardened using a special light. This bonds the resin to the tooth either to restore it or to improve the appearance of the tooth. Dental bonding can be considered to repair decayed, chipped, or cracked teeth. If you want to improve the appearance of discolored teeth dental bonding is an option to consider. Dental bonding is also used to close spaces between teeth, make teeth look longer, and can change the overall shape of a tooth. Dental bonding can be used as a cosmetic alternative to amalgam fillings and protect a portion of the tooth’s root that may have been exposed when gums recede. Dental bonding is a good option for many dental issues. Call Aava Dental today to see if dental bonding can help you bring back your beautiful smile and restore your confidence.

Finding out you may need a dental extraction can be concerning. Our dentists here at Aava Dental make sure you know all your options. The last thing any dentist wants to do is a dental extraction. With Aava Dental, we make sure a dental extraction is the last option. It is always better to save the tooth. When a tooth needs to be extracted, there are many options to replace the last tooth. Please discuss these options with your dentist.
